The seal of approval for workplace health programs is awarded according to the strictest criteria. With PALfit, PALFINGER has been consistently focusing on sustainable and target group-oriented health promotion for years. Now the Austrian health insurance fund has awarded the seal of approval to all PALFINGER sites in Austria.

Bergheim, Austria June 21, 2021

Fit at Work - Healthy in Life is the tagline of PALfit, PALFINGER's workplace health promotion program. For more than 15 years, PALfit has been contributing to the physical and mental well-being of its employees with a wide range of target group-oriented and needs-based health promotion offers. On June 9, PALfit was awarded the "Seal of Approval for Workplace Health Promotion" by the Austrian health insurance fund for all PALFINGER sites in Austria.

Strict criteria
The seal of approval is the highest award in Austria for sustainable investment in the health of employees. Only companies that focus on holistic measures are accepted as partners in this program. The aim is to bring about a long-term and lasting change in working conditions in terms of health promotion.

Clear goals
"The well-being of our employees is something that is extremely important to us," says PALFINGER CEO Andreas Klauser, adding: "That is why the working environment should be designed in such a way that our employees remain healthy and 'PALfit' despite the high expectations and challenges they face in their daily work."

Target group-oriented offers
The PALfit health management team has developed a wide-ranging program that extends from voluntary health checks and exercise classes to physiotherapy. Ongoing training in mindfulness, self-management and stress management is also offered. The program promotes and supports sports, whether in the fitness center, at competitions or with shared company-wide campaigns. Because PALfit pursues a holistic approach, the measures include a basket of fresh fruit every day and healthy lunch options, as well as health guides and the PALfit Bike scheme that offers employees the best terms to obtain a bicycle or e-bike for their commute to work.

Consistent implementation
"Healthy and motivated employees are the prerequisite for a successful company. For years, PALFINGER has taken a consistent approach to promoting employee health in line with PALfit's tagline Fit at Work - Healthy in Life," says PALfit Director Claudia Eigenherr-Tschugmell, who is delighted with the award.
