List Holding Group celebrates “75 Years of Making an Impact”

There was a special occasion to celebrate in Bad Erlach: On June 26, the List Holding Group marked its 75th anniversary, joined by industry representatives from around the globe, political leaders, members of the press, and of course, its own employees. The event offered not only a moment to reflect on the remarkable history of this Austrian family-owned company, but also a look ahead to a future shaped by growth and ambition.

Craftsmanship from Lower Austria with global appeal
Since 1950, the name List has stood for craftsmanship of the highest standard. What began as a small carpentry in Aspang, Lower Austria, has grown into a globally sought-after group of companies. Today, it is known for crafting exclusive interiors for yachts and private residences, as well as innovative spatial solutions that redefine mobility, sustainability, and flexibility. Whether one-of-a-kind custom work or intelligent serial production – every company in the Group shares a commitment to quality, smart design, and forward-looking craftsmanship.

The company’s headquarters in Bad Erlach serves as its heart, think tank, and production hub. Nearly 100 luxury yachts equipped with interiors from List General Contractor GmbH (List GC) now sail the world’s oceans. Add to that numerous high-end onshore projects, including exclusive apartments and residences across multiple continents. “75 Years of Making an Impact” captures the story of a family business whose precision, consistency, and sustainable influence extend far beyond its core industry.

One Group, many talents
The List Holding Group comprises several specialized companies: List General Contractor GmbH, Cohrs Werkstätten GmbH, Riederle Werkstätten GmbH, Interior PROMAN GmbH, and Yuniti Innovations GmbH. Together, they form a powerful network of experts – from carpenters and engineers to project managers as well as product developers. Around 350 employees contribute not only with their craftsmanship and technical skills but also their ideas, curiosity, and passion for outstanding interior design.

The Group is also committed to training the next generation of skilled workers in carpentry, carpentry technology, finishing, and upholstery. Apprenticeships are a core element of the Group’s long-term talent strategy and an important contribution to the development of the entire region.

Growth with foresight
The List Holding Group is pursuing a clear strategy for sustainable growth and long-term success. With Theresa Ludwiger-List as Managing Director of the Holding and Bertram List as Managing Director of Yuniti Innovations, the next generation is an integral part of the leadership team – actively shaping the future while opening up new business areas.

At the same time, List GC continues to grow in Germany: Cohrs Werkstätten in Lower Saxony will consolidate its two current sites in Bad Fallingbostel and Dorfmark into one state-of-the-art location in Honerdingen. By 2027, this new facility will offer modern technologies, optimized workflows, and space for further team expansion.

The anniversary event was a moment to pause, say thank you, and look ahead together. Over the past 75 years, the List Holding Group has achieved a lot – and even more lies ahead. With innovation, teamwork and a clear vision, the Group creates high-quality spaces where people can truly feel at home.

The evening also brought together an impressive mix of international experts – from renowned yacht builders and designers to forward-thinking leaders who are shaping tomorrow’s spatial design far beyond the world of yachts.
