With an investment of EUR 1 million, PALFINGER is further strengthening its operations in Portugal. The new facility brings key functions together at one location. By increasing mounting capacity by 60 percent and service capacity by 40 percent, the new Sales & Service Hub enhances PALFINGER’s ability to serve customers and drive continued growth in the Portuguese market.

Just one month after opening its new Sales & Service Hub in Madrid, PALFINGER is expanding its footprint on the Iberian Peninsula with the new facility in Lisbon. Over the past decade, the technology and mechanical engineering company has continuously developed its presence in Spain and Portugal. The two new hubs strengthen PALFINGER’s operational set-up and customer proximity across the region.

Greater Capacity and Customer Proximity in Portugal
The Lisbon hub brings sales, service, logistics, workshop operations and mounting together at one location. A key part of the investment is the expansion from five to eight mounting boxes, which raises mounting capacity by 60 percent. In addition, service capacity increases by 40 percent. This expansion allows for greater flexibility and responsiveness to customer demand, improves operational efficiency and enables the Portuguese operation to support the wider PALFINGER network when required.
